HHCOS Friends

HHCOS greatly appreciates the support of our Friends who play a vital role in helping us secure a vibrant future for this historic Society.  The support you give us helps us to bring together audiences, amateur and professional singers and orchestras to create performances of beautiful, classical music in the heart of our community in North East Scotland. 

Our Friends Package

We offer a package of benefits to our Friends as a token of our appreciation for your generosity.  These include:

  • Annual newsletter and advance notice of our events
  • Priority booking period for all our events (including reserved seating at events in Haddo House Hall for each Friend plus one guest in our 42 premium seats).
  • A complimentary interval drink at events run by HHCOS
  • Acknowledgement of Friends’ names, if they so wish, in our main event programmes.
  • Invitations to occasional events (open rehearsal, entertainment evenings)
  • An invitation to official receptions (for Symphony Friends only)

* Please note, individual seating is limited and will be allocated strictly on a first come, first served basis. HHCOS reserve the right to levy a surcharge for reserving individual seats for non-friends.

Opportunities for Individuals
Without the help of a body of dedicated volunteers and regular donors, HHCOS would not be able to continue. With finances becoming ever tighter, the Society badly needs your help to keep June Gordon’s dream alive. You can help us by becoming a friend or by joining us as a volunteer. Volunteers carry out a variety of jobs from front of house to painting sets or helping with the clean up. HHCOS also always needs help with administration and publicity. Please encourage your friends to attend our events and spread the word to the public about our productions.

Opportunities for Businesses
To maintain the high standard of performance at Haddo, there are necessarily high costs involved in staging performances. We always need financial help to support them. Perhaps your business would like to sponsor one or more of our varied activities. Would you like us to perform at your corporate event? We run advertising in our programmes and can offer many other ways to publicly recognise your support. Please contact us to discuss how we can work together.
